Eastside indie filmmakers Todd Berger, Kevin M. Brennan and Jeff Grace have just released a trailer for their first feature film entitled "The Scenesters". The movie was shot entirely in and around Echo Park, Silverlake and Los Feliz. "The Scenesters" tells the story of Charlie Newton, a crime scene cleanup worker who falls in league with two crime scene videographers on a hunt to track down a serial killer on the Eastside of Los Angeles.
This dark comedy was the next logical step for The Vacationeers (youtube.com/thevacationeers) an Eastside short film comedy group whom are the driving force behind the project.
The movie stars Blaise Miller, Suzanne May, Sherilyn Fenn, Todd Berger, Jeff Grace, Kevin M. Brennan, Monika Jolly and John Landis.
The movie also features a soundtrack with local artists, The Airborne Toxic Event, The Franks, The Switch, The Irish Goodbye and many others.
